Jake DeLuise

Welcome to my portfolio! I’m Jake DeLuise. Being enthusiastic about Level Design and System Design means I design spaces and I design rules. I’m enrolled at DigiPen Institute of Technology. Check out the projects I’ve worked on, and feel free to reach out too!

Race Day

Drive a lap with me through the process I took to create two levels for Race Day - one Grand Prix circuit in a mountainous valley, and one street circuit in a beach town.

Project Nasu is a puzzle-action-platforming game built around recoil as a movement mechanic. I worked on this project as part of a team of 3 in my first year of studies at DigiPen Institute of Technology.

Midnight Delivery is a cozy life simulation game that I worked on as the Design Lead. In this game, the player takes the role of a witch who is tasked with brewing and delivering potions to the other residents on a collection of islands.

Fast Break is a Basketball-themed tabletop game for two players. In this players, players strategically move tokens on a grid and use cards to be the first player to score 11 points.

These unorthodox scoreboards track points for games with themes like Football, Basketball, or something wildly, ridiculously different. The goal here was to supplement friendly competitive acitivities in unexpected ways.
